However, although unable to compete with the fourth rider, Lorenzo assess Stoner and Pedrosa are just faster than him.
"I am pleased with the Yamaha because it increases the motor ability, so we are much better than last year and could be even faster. The problem is that our competitors are more gluttonous than us," said Lorenzo as reported by Eurosport, Friday, February 25, 2011.
"On the simulation of the race I felt good, the stamina and also consistent for 20 laps. I always almost record time of 2 minutes 1.7 seconds," said Lorenzo.
"I think Dani and Casey just faster than us, so it's not bad. We, on this track, about a half seconds slower than Dani and Casey, 'said Lorenzo.
